How to Make the Latest Children's Clothing Patterns

patterns for friends who want to sew their own children's clothes, so the first step that needs to be
prepared is a design or model that can be made. After that, determine the child's clothing pattern and
the size of each pattern.

Making children's clothing patterns is generally not complicated and difficult for those who are used to

Techniques for Making Children's Clothing Patterns

Determine the size of the child's clothing pattern

This is the joy of being able to sew your own clothes, namely that we can set the size we want. The sizes
usually required for children's clothing patterns include:

1. Body circumference, which is taken by circling the meter around the body, precisely under the
armpits. This size is increased by 4 cm.

2. Waist circumference, taken by circling the measuring tape around the waist, and adding 2 cm.

3. Back length, the measurement starts from the neck which has protruding bones down to the waist.

4. Back width, measurement from the back, starting from the right armhole to the left armhole.

5. Face width, starting from the right armhole to the left armhole.

6. Shoulder length, measurement starts from the neck to the tip of the shoulder

7. Armhole circumference, measurement starting at the armhole, and the amount is + 1 cm.

8. Neck circumference, the measurement is to wrap a tape measure around the neck.
9. Face length, measurement from the curve of the neck to the waistline.

10. Sleeve length, measurement from the lowest side of the shoulder to the length of the arm.

11. Length of clothing, measurements according to the model that can be made.

Material cutting

The material is cut according to the child's clothing pattern. The size used is the result of the
measurements taken in step 1.

Unification of children's clothing patterns

After the material has been cut and the design pattern is appropriate, the next step is to put it together,
namely overlock and sew.
