Abbreviation: I used
Mr: Magic ring Medium 4 worsted weight
Sl st: Slip stitch yarn
Sc: Single crochet 4mm crochet hook
Inc: Single crochet Increase Yarn needle
Dec: Single crochet Decrease Scissors
BLO: Back loop only Catnip
FLO: Front loop only

Note: This pattern is worked in the round.

Mushroom Stem and Gill

R1: Mr, 6 Sc in the ring 6

R2: Inc around 12

R3: Sc 1, Inc, repeat around 18

Sew your tail end in.

R4-9: Sc around 18

R10: Sc 4, Dec, repeat around 15

R11-12: Sc around 15

R13: Sc 3, Inc, around 12

R14: Sc around 12

R17: FLO Inc around 24

R18: Sc around 24

R19: Sc, Inc, repeat around 36

R20: Sc around 36

Sl st to the next stitch, fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing the cap to the stem.
Fill with Catnip

Mushroom Cap

R1: Mr, Sc 3 in the ring 3

R2: Inc around 6

R3: Sc around 6

R4: Sc, Inc, Sc, Dec, Sc 6

R5: Sc, Inc, repeat around 9

R6: Sc 3, Inc, Sc 3, Dec 9

R7: Sc 2, Inc repeat around 12

R8: Sc 3, Inc repeat around 15

R9: Sc 2, Inc, *Sc 4, Inc* x2, Sc 2 18

R10: Sc 5, Inc, repeat around 21

R11: Sc 3, Inc, *Sc 6, Inc* x2, Sc 3 24

R16: Sc, Inc, repeat around 36

R17: Sc around 36

R18-19: Sc, Inc repeat around 36

Sl st in the next stitch. Fasten off. Weave in the ends and cut off excess.
I add Catnip to the cap, before I sew the two pieces together.
Place the gills and stem, on top of the cap.

Sew through a back stitch of the cap to hide the stitches from showing on the top
of the cap. Continue sewing the two pieces together. sew in the end.
