Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter


2 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon espresso powder (optional)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter
or cooking spray.

In a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave. Add the
sugar and stir until well combined.

Microwave the mixture for another 30 seconds, or until the mixture is hot but not
bubbling. This step helps create a shiny crust on the brownies.

Add the cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, espresso powder (if using), and vanilla
extract to the butter mixture, and mix until everything is well combined.

Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
Add the flour and mix until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out
with just a few moist crumbs attached.
Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.
