Abstract

________________________________________

Supply chain networks are generally associated with inter-organizational communications,

leading to reduction of time delays in services and information flows. Recognizing the
importance of communication, this paper deals with the management of information across a
network of organizations that are involved in the design and construction process. The paper
presents an overview of problems associated with the process of managing construction project
information and explores the key role Web-based technology systems can play in making this
process more effective. The paper also reports on the utilization of such a system on a number
of construction projects. It discusses the efficiency gained in the traditional process of
architectural drawings transmittal, and reports on a questionnaire survey targeting system
users to gain some insight into their perception of its usefulness, performance and role in
improving communications amongst the entire project team.

Introduction

In our daily life we saw many people those who have no work they are unemployed.
For example if a builder want a helper to construct the building but sometimes builder doesn’t
get a worker available for their work and also there are some people who doesn’t have their
own work they are finding many of the places to get work and for that people we are creating
a platform through this web portal.

This Web application is generally for those people who are connecting to the field of
constructing side like civil Engineers, Builders, Wage people. In this Portal we have to express
the thoughts that the wage workers doesn’t have specific work and they are facing many of the
problems in their life. Our motive for making this Web Portal that every needed person get
work.

Literature Survey

A Construction Chain is basically an interconnected network of suppliers, manufacturers,

warehouses, distributors and retailers. This incorporates a coordinated plan which in turn has
processes to develop products by converting raw materials to finished goods. The client was
implementing a semi-automated process of collecting the order and requirements from their
customers instead of using a fully automated form of application to deal with the customers,
manufacturing processes, quality control, transportation, feedback reception from the
customers (Lewis, 2001). The client was facing a lot of supply chain problems like Inventory
maintenance, the lead times, incorporating latest technology into manufacturing and to
maintain a global procurement network.

1. Existing System:

The existing system based on finding like civil Engineers, Builders, Wage is a very time
consuming and tiring process for the Constructor owner. Even after spending hours on
searching the persons is not finding for the work… Same as other side the like civil Engineers,
Builders, Wage are not searching the Work.

2. Objective and Scope or Proposed System:

We are creating this Web Portal for those people who are connecting to a constructor’s site.
Civil engineer, builder and wage people they are sign up here. So we will provide a personal
profile and attach a one form. In we add many of choices
Suppose, civil engineer want a builder to complete their project but engineers is new in
constructor site. So we create a platform by this Web Portal. For example, engineers want
builder so we create a thread by a form for this situation means those builders sign up in this
Web portal then we send e-mail. Any builder want an engineer they can contact them and if
they are agree to contact so it works together. Similarly builder contact with wage people and
engineers also. This application similarly help people to complete these needs and every person
get help to get work.

Methodology

________________________________________

Introduction:
A web application was developed with the capability to help the client in supply chain
management. The development of the project involved a lot of phases, in which the project is
developed step by step. The steps involved in the project development are: Design of Study
and Procedure The main aim of this project was to design an application that will be capable
of controlling and monitoring the supply chain management of the client. So this project dealt
with new programming interfaces, backend data collection and also storage of the data. The
data had to be collected about the manufacturing processes available in the market, the data
about the third party logistics, their type of transportation available, the rate at which they
transfer, the prices and all the other constraints that make a TPL worth considering. The
selection of the latest technologies and if they are of compatible types, considering their cost
of maintenance if applicable. The availability of raw materials, the place of their origin was
taken in to consideration and were added into the database. So thus with a design solution the
project construction initialized (Martin & Roth, 2000).

A)Project Assignment and Roles Identification:

The project requirements were received by the high level management and were passed on to
the project manager who was responsible for the project. The project management divided the
whole project into tasks and assigned it to 30 different resources; the resources included
Business Analysts, Team Lead, Developer, Testing engineer. The team included business
analysts and requirements analyst, four developers which included a team lead, two testers, one
iteration manager who kept track of the whole project and had the ability to escalate any issue
to the higher level. Agile methodology was followed because of the project requirements were
always changing which is the basic advantage of agile. The project had two sprints and a daily
stand-up to report the amount of work done and to fasten any backlogs.

B) Project planning and Sprints:

The initial project meeting had included the selection of the server, project structure, selection
of the team members, databases to be used, type of exchange channel to be used for the
exchange of the program files. All of these were decided by the chief architect and the tech
lead. There were daily stand-up meetings that involved the discussion of the issues that an
individual faced during programming and the advancement in the project till date.

C) Code Design:

10 | P a g e
Code design was purely team lead’s and the architect’s decision, team lead and the architect
decided which architecture to be used in building the web application, what are the techniques,
frameworks, API’s (Application Program Interface), Integrated Development Environment
(IDE’s), etc. The scripting languages were chosen here and then the design structure is
developed, each team member was given a particular task, some of them worked on the front
end, that is the web page 31 development and the rest worked on the service logic and database.
The techniques used were Spring, Hibernate, Java, HTML, CSS, Java Script, angular js, etc.
The basic architecture looked as below and was explained in the earlier chapters.

Conclusion

In this Web Portal, we introduce the development of PHP Web Application for finding
Constructor person like builder, wages, plumber, painter etc. Using data mining
technique. This system is used by all i.e., technical/non-technical people. With the help
of this Web Portal Constructors can find a work person for them on their smartphone,
Or Computer and an unemployed wages , builders, Painter , plumber can register
him/herself as an employed Person. For future scope, project may not be limited to
only small builder, General Construction may expand with more features.
