A Gaussian-Bernoulli Mixed Naïve Bayes Approach to Predict Students' Academic

Procrastination Tendencies in Online Mathematics Learning

The act of procrastinating causes someone to put off doing their work, which forces
them to do it right before the deadline. To put it another way, they would turn to cramming
because of their failure to complete the work that was assigned to them.

While some students like to postpone constantly and are "masters" at cramming,
teachers in particular are unable to keep an eye on their work because it is being done online.
One of the things that contributes to pupils failing their classes is procrastination. It
frequently results from a lack of motivation and a failure to comprehend the lessons.

This information helps me in understanding and predicting the pupils' habits of

procrastination. Given that this study suggests using the Gaussian-Bernoulli Mixed Nave
Bayes Model, I will make the most of using this model to improve the instructions I give to
my future students. By doing this, I hope to encourage them to avoid procrastination, which
will encourage innovation and creativity in their ideas as well as responsibility for completing
their assignments on time without having to scramble and work under pressure.
