ANALYZE (p.57 or 62)

Your findings and recommendations in the Learner Development Profile will help you answer the questions here.
1. From your home visit and interview, what do you think is the style of parenting experienced by the learner?
Explain your answer. In my perspective, her mother's parenting style is more authoritarian since she decides what should be
done on behalf of the father. That is why it is completely OK if she is more of an authoritarian.
2. Relating your data with what you learned from child development, what family factors do you think contribute to
the development and over-all adjustment of the learner in school? Perhaps the child's growth is influenced by the father's
death. Her shyness may originate from the fact that he stands out from the crowd. It's probable that his general adjustment is due
to his mother's guidance and the support of his siblings.
3. Does the communication between the home-school have an effect on the learner? If yes, what are these effects? It
has, without a question. As we all know, our parents are our first instructors, therefore if they did a good job of teaching us, we
will be able to cope with the outside world. Because we will be unable to understand the content of things if we are not properly
taught at home.
4. How can the teacher partner with the community to contribute to the development and learning of the students?
Who are the people or which institutions can the teacher tap to seek advice regarding the development and learning of
students? The more active parents are in their children's education, the higher their children's accomplishment levels. This holds
true for all levels of parental participation in their children's education, as well as pupils of various ages and backgrounds. The
earlier parents are involved in their children's education, the greater the rewards. Educators frequently highlight the significance
of a child's home and family environment in determining academic performance. Parental participation is demonstrably beneficial
in promoting academic and emotional gains at all levels, and schools are urged to engage and include parents. This commitment
should be maintained throughout the middle and high school years.

REFLECT (p.58 or 63)

1. Reflect on your own development as a child. What type of parenting did you experience? How did it affect you?
From the time I was a youngster till now, I've observed that the parenting style I've had has been authoritarian. My parents want
me to be a mature and useful member of society when I grow up. My parents may find it difficult to select the optimal parenting
style for me in order to change me into a contributing member of society. My parents are quite strict, and I believe they used
"authoritarian parenting." They have a lot of rules, and they penalize me for breaking them by screaming, accusing, or threatening
me. As a consequence, I understand why they did it; it's because I've grown as a nice and strong person, which has inspired my
personality to become a better version of myself.

2. As a future teacher, how would you establish good home-school collaboration? How can you work well with the
parents? How can you help them? How can they help you? As a prospective teacher, I intend to create good home-school
collaboration through promoting a child's engagement in both academic and social aspects of school life. I will successfully
interact with parents by inviting them to parent events or seminars, emphasizing the concept that we are all working together to
promote their children's educational experiences. I'll aid parents in detecting and controlling student concerns, as well as dealing
with complaints and grievances, so they can provide their child with clear guidelines. As a teacher and a parent, they can assist
me in grasping their perspectives on others in this manner.
