Dancing is an exercise that engages the entire body as well as the

mind. Aside from having fun while learning the steps, dance

exercise has a lot of benefits such as proper circulation of blood,

builds muscles, relaxes joints and kills calories.There are different

types of dance exercise, ex; (zumba, aerobics, ballroom etc.)

Dance and dance exercise requires us to move our entire body

creating a flow and routine with different movements like locomotor

and non - locomotor movements.

Dance exercise is another way of working out. It helps us maintain

our body’s endurance and keeps our hearts and lungs strong. As

someone who has Asthma since 7 years old, i can say that dancing

and exercising through dance helps me a lot to overcome and cure

my Asthma for good. Growing up i’ve always been more careful

when it comes to my extra curricular activities as i tend to suffer

from Asthma attack a lot. After attending some dance class i learned

that warming up and cooling down is important after every session

even after going to the gym or working out at home.
