Plant-Based Coaching Workshop - Wellness Wheel - Worksheet
In 2000, psychologists Jane Myers, Thomas Sweeney, and Melvin Witmer created The
Wheel of Wellness to help shift emphasis from a disease and illness model to one of
wellness and health. (Myers et al., 2000) Each spoke of the wheel represents an area of
your life that, ideally, deserves daily attention. Wellness wheels remain accessible and
helpful in the promotion of wellbeing.
To use it, rank your level of satisfaction with each area on a scale of 1 to 10. 1 means you are
struggling and feel unfulfilled in that area. 10 means you’re satisfied with that area and don’t
think it needs much improvement. Once you’re done, you should see which areas need
improvement and which ones you feel satisfied with.
Which areas do you want to focus on improving right now and why?
When you envision fulfillment in these areas, what does that look and feel like to you?
