SHOULD THE EUROVISION 2023 BE

HELD IN UKRAINE?

No matter what is happening people need art and entertainment. Also Ukrainians
need foreign people to prolong their attention to Ukraine and continue supporting
us. That is why I think we should hold the Eurovision 2023.
As I see it – there are several powerful benefits of holding the Eurovision 2023, of
course if the war will be over by the time (with our victory obviously).
My first reason for this opinion is that people (and such an artistic nation as
Ukrainian too) need art and entertainment even in difficult times because it helps us
to live our emotions, document, represent, support each other, to boost morale,
earn money and increase our culture. It means that holding the Eurovision will give
us more opportunities to make and absorb good music/show and let us relax finally.
Another reason why I think it is good for us is a chance to remind about Ukraine.
We need attention and different types of support, and we will need it for a long
time, therefore being forgotten can affect us negatively. In other words, the more we
are on everyone’s lips, the further foreign people will prolong their help.
It is true that there are a lot of more significant things to spend money on in
Ukraine, but the holding is also about our visibility, volunteering in Ukraine and
financial aid in the long term.
To sum up, holding the Eurovision 2023 will give us an area for creating, resting,
living our emotions, developing and representing our culture. Also it will be an
opportunity to be remembered and supported, to encourage foreigners coming to
volunteer or raising money for charity. The holding will be expensive, but it will
worth it.
