Narrative +The narrative essay is a branch of
Nonfiction creative nonfiction. Also known as
a personal essay, writers of this
genre are tasked with telling
honest stories about their lived
experiences and, as a result,
arriving at certain realizations
about life.
LITERARY
JOURNALISM
Literary journalism is
the creative nonfiction form
that comes closest to
newspaper and magazine
writing. It is fact-driven and
requires research and, often,
interviews.
