Head of the Family: JEMAR MIRADORA
TYPOLOGY OF NURSING PROBLEMS IN FAMILY NURSING PRACTICE

1. Inadequate resources or facilities for proper waste disposal and drainage

management, leading to health threats within the family:
In their house, there is no proper waste disposal, and there is also no garbage
collector, so they dispose of it in the front area and burn it. This can be a
cause of disease like Vector-Borne Diseases which proximity to rice fields can
increase the risk of exposure to disease vectors such as mosquitoes, which
may carry diseases like malaria, dengue fever, and Zika virus.

2. Lack of hours of sleep as Health Threat:

The family goes to bed early at 7 pm. The mother, on the other hand, states
that there are days when she sometimes cannot sleep and occasionally goes
without sleep.

3. Lack of Environmental Safety:

The flooring of the family's bathroom is slippery, posing a risk of slipping or
falling due to the smooth surface of the bathroom floor.

4. Risk for Inadequate Shelter:

The family's house is made entirely of light materials, and these materials may
not be very durable. It could be more susceptible to damage or may not
provide sufficient protection against disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes,
or floods.
