Methodology and Software Lifecycle for this Project
We are going to adopt an incremental model approach for our project. The main phases of
incremental model approach are:

Initial planning: An important phase of the software development in which we brainstorm the
main aspects of software development.

Planning: Planning is one of the main components of software development. It is a process of

thinking and organizing the activities required to achieve a desired goal.

Requirement Analysis: In this phase, the requirements from the client are gathered and by
further analysis, a requirement specification document is created. This document is used as a
base for creating the system.

Analysis and Design: Design is a major phase in which we examine all the components and
phases of the system. This later helps us to implement and test the features of a system.

Implementation: After the design phase, a code for the software is written. This code is the core
of a software system.

Testing: When software is completed, it has to be tested multiple times for any bugs or errors
before it has to be launched finally.

Evaluation: After the testing phase, this software is evaluated by the user/client for its working.

Deployment: After the successful completion of all phases, the software will be launched.
Rationale behind selected methodology

Incremental model is a method of software development where the model is analyzed, designed,
tested, and implemented incrementally. A working version of software is produced during the
first module and with each subsequent release of the module, a function is added to the previous
release. The process continues till the complete system is achieved.
