II. Descriptive Title : NURSING LEADERSHIP, MANAGEMENT AND JURISPRUDENCE

VII: Course Description : This course deals with the application of the concepts, principles, theories and methods of developing nursing leaders and managers in the hospital and community-
based settings. It also includes ethico moral/ legal aspects of health care and nursing practice and the nurses’ responsibilities for personal and professional growth.
The subject will have an applied focus using a variety of workplaces such hospitals, and community.

XI. Course Policy and Standards


1. Students are required to attend all clinical/ CHN/ and other duties wearing the complete school uniform

2. Students are expected to attend all clinical/ CHN/ and other duties sessions on time.

3. Male nursing students should wear the prescribed gentleman’s haircut

4. Assignments, workbooks, and projects must be submitted on or before the deadline/due date.

5. No special quiz/zes will be given if the student will miss any.


6. Students are expected to consistently demonstrate professional behavior.

7. Students are required to pass the Final Examination in order for him/her to pass the Subject. Final Examination will Cover from the beginning to end of the subject.

XII. Attendance
Students are expected to attend all lecture days unless there is a compelling reason for absence. Attendance will be taken regularly through this class. Students who return to class after an
absence shall be responsible for completing all assigned course work. Communication with the instructor is vital to establish what and when missed course work needs to be completed. Students are
responsible for any announcements, changes in the schedule, handouts, projects explanations, etc. with occurred during the students absences
