Relief Opportunities For Work Case Manager Appointment Notice

Hello GROW Participant! You are scheduled for a telephone appointment to talk with your GROW Worker at the
date and time listed below. At this appointment, we will discuss your participation in the (GROW) program.
• If you just completed a component assignment, such as Job Readiness Training, Vocational Assessment,
Post-assessment Activities, we will discuss your next assignment and any services you may need.
• If you have been on General Relief for six months in a 12-month period we will discuss your progress in the
GROW Program. We will also discuss any obstacles in your search for employment.
• If you were exempted from participation in GROW because you were employed full-time, we will discuss
• your continued employment,
• your need for services, or
• a new component assignment.
• If you are required to provide verification or documentation, let your worker know during this appointment.
You can also mail it in time to arrive by the due date.
Keeping the appointment with your GROW Worker is mandatory. You might be sanctioned if you do not call. A
sanction means that you lose your GR case aid and you have to wait to get it back. The waiting period can be 0
days, 30 days or 60 days. If you are sanctioned, we will let you know how long your sanction-waiting period is in
another notice.
You cannot be sanctioned and your GR will not stop if: (1) you have not been on GR cash aid for three months in the
past year; (2) You made a mistake (were negligent); or (3) You had a good reason for not keeping your appointment.
If you cannot keep this telephone appointment or you have any questions about the
appointment, contact the GROW Worker immediately at the number listed below.
