About the Role:

We seek a highly skilled Repair Technician with extensive UAV maintenance experience.
Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting UAV systems, especially fixed-wing
platforms, is essential. This role demands swift issue resolution and collaboration with
engineers to enhance repair processes. Attention to detail and quality control are vital for
ensuring UAV reliability. Join us in advancing UAV maintenance practices and operational

Key Purpose and Accountabilities:

Primary activities –.

● Repair and maintain UAV assemblies and subassemblies, with a particular focus on
fixed-wing systems.
● Interpret and execute work instructions and drawings to perform tasks and maintain
comprehensive records.
● Utilize proper tools, adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SoP), and propose
efficiency-improving ideas to reduce costs.
● Maintain a clean and organized work area following Lean Tools principles, such as
5S.
● Promptly report and escalate any production issues to your supervisor.
● Plan daily activities to ensure the timely completion of assembly tasks.
● Conduct calibrations for wire placement and electronic components.
● Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, providing effective repair solutions.
● Maintain detailed reports and records of activities performed.
● Employ various electronic equipment, such as Multimeters and Oscilloscopes, for
testing and measurements.
● Manage and track Calibration validation for each tool, ensuring timely renewals
before expiration.
Job Description

Major Duties:
● Conduct in-depth diagnostics and efficient troubleshooting of UAV systems, swiftly
addressing identified issues.
● Execute component replacement and repairs in strict compliance with manufacturer
guidelines and industry best practices.
● Collaborate with the engineering team to develop streamlined repair procedures,
maintain spare parts inventory, and ensure repaired UAVs meet quality and safety
standards.
● Drive routine inspections, scheduled maintenance, and quality control measures to
enhance UAV reliability and performance, while also contributing to continuous
improvement in repair processes.

Experience, qualifications, skills required:

● ITI Fitter/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics.


● Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with a focus on UAV systems,
particularly fixed-wing platforms.
● Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, work instructions, and manuals.
● Experience in assembly processes, production, drilling, soldering, and electrical
routing.
● Competence in handling assembly tools, production templates, wire harnesses,
electronic devices, composite materials, and metal components.
● Strong communication skills, with proficiency in reading and writing in English.
● Basic computer literacy.

Other Requirements:

● Travel: 50% of work require traveling


● Physically capable of independently lifting and moving instruments weighing 25-30
kg using appropriate tools.
