Greetings ,
We are extremely delighted to extend to you an invitation to
join our Annual Techno- Cultural Sports Fiesta ‘Youth Zest
2022’. We warmly welcome the students of your school to
participate in various events according to their individual
talents. This fiesta aims to encourage affability among the
students of various schools. The students also get an
opportunity to sharpen their skills.
Hence, we are enclosing the essential details along with the
schedule and participation form duly filled in, latest by 25th
October 2022.

Greetings everyone!
Fastern your seat belts as you are about to fly high as GMIS is coming up with
mega event "YOUTH ZEST 2022". Events conducted in institutions are an
expressive way to celebrate the glorious days of togetherness, sharing innovative
ideas, showcasing talent and a learning experience for the students. It's an
exceptional junction where beautiful cultures are presented with technological
innovations booming all the way. The atmosphere of the event is filled with all
energy, excitement and emotions. We all still have glimpse of our successful
event. Its a great moment for all of us to witness another mind blowing,
revitalizing event which will offer exploration activities, competitions, gaming,
and much more. A little progress each day adds upto big results. We should feel
proud for getting such opportunity to uplift young minds with fulfilling and
informative experience. Let us achieve another milestone together. Lets make it
the biggest and most enlightening fest. As the president of this very legacy. I
extend this invitation to you. I will be humbled by the gracious presence of your
institution.

 General Criteria
1. The schools are requested to send their confirmation of participation by
30th October 2022 through mail.
2. The school team comprising of 15 students of classes IX - XII under the
guidance of TWO
teacher incharges.
3. Thereby the attached List of Participation/Registration has to be sent by
30h October 2022.
4. The schools are requested to send their participant(s) in designated
school uniform.
5. The decision of judges shall be final and binding.
6. The host school will not be participating.
7. There is no registration fee.
8. Team can take part in Talent Hunt, extra points will be awarded for
that.

 Real Steel
No. of Participants: 2
Time – 4 hours

Details:
1. In the robot, use of fire, chemicals, are strictly banned.
2. The robot could be wired or wireless.
3. Teams should bring their own DC supply.
No power supply of DC or AC will be provided.
4. The robot should be ready before hand otherwise the team will be disqualified.
5. Host school shall not be responsible for any damage to the robot during the
event.
6. The robot should have only mechanical weapon for war.
7. The event will take place in 3 rounds: Obstacle round, Robot race, Robot war
8. Dimensions 30cmx 30cmx 30cm
9. Max weight 8 kg
 Dance On Beats
Time: 3 hours

Details:
1. There will be 2 categories: Solo and Duet .
2. You should bring your own track in a pen drive.
3. Participating teams are required to bring the props by themselves.
4. Organizers will only help to arrange the props in performance area.
5. Time lmit 3-4 minutes per category.
 Code Machine

Number Of Participants: 1

Time: 1.5 hours + 1 hour

Details:
1. This event consists of 2 rounds , both the rounds will be
computer
based.
2. Participants securing above 100 marks will qualify for 2nd
round.
3. Top 5 participants will qualify for 2nd round.
4. Participants is allowed to use either Java/C++/Python.
 Youth Gamblers
Number Of Participants: 4

Time: 2 hours + 2 hours

Details:
1. This is a Battle Royal gaming event.
2. Participants need to carry theirmobile phone to play the game.
3. We will put you in a server room and ID password will be provided.
4. Internet connection may or may not be provided by the organisers so,
arrange a proper internet connection.
5. Matches will be played according to the fixtures.
6. There will be four players in each team : Leader, co-leader, and two
more players.
7. Any misleading will lead to direct disqualification.
 Youth’s Brush

Number Of Participants: 1

Time: 2.5 hours

Details :
1. The topic will be given on the spot.
2. Only canvas sheet will be provided by the Team Zest.
3. The participant is required to carry own supplies.
4. Usage of any electronic device is strictly prohibited and
will lead to direct disqualification .
 Just Laugh

No. of Participants: 2

Time : 10 minutes to per team

Details :
1. The event consists of 2 rounds .
2. Usage of props are allowed in the event.
3. Any type of vulgar language or nuisance activity is strictly
prohibited and lead to immediate disqualification.
4. Content should be healthy.
 The Voice

No. of Participants: 2

Time : 1 hour

Details :
1. This is a duet event.
2. Participants can bring one instrument with them.
3. The duration of song should not exceed 4 minutes.
4. The decision of core team is final and no objection can be raised.
 Web-E-Zone
No. of Participants:1
Time : 2 hours

Details :
1. Any type of electronic gadgets are not allowed.
2. Participant must not bring any type of script and framework
along with them.
3. Use of unfair means is prohibited.
4. The topic will be given to the participants on the spot.
5. All other information will be provided before the starting of the event.

 Scénariste
No. of Participants: 1

Time : 2 hours

Details :
1. Theme for the event will be disclosed on the day of the fest, right after
the opening ceremony.
2. Writers must adhere to the time limit allotted.
3. Script must be NOT LESS THAN 800 words & NOT MORE THAN
1000 words.
4. Writers are required to select not more than two genres that best
represents the story.
5. Entries must be original work of the entrant & must not infringe the
rights of any other writer.
6. Eligibility: Scripts, screen plays & T.V. plots only.
7. Decisions of the judges are final & may not be disputed.
 Poetic World
No. of Participants: 1

Time : 1 hour

Details :
1. The poem should be self composed.
2. The event will take place in single round only.
3. The participant must adhere to the time limit - 3 minutes.
4. Use of electronic gadget is strictly prohibited.
5. Top three poems will be published in our school magazines.
6. Theme will be given on the spot.
 Pixel Village
No. of Participants: 1
Duration: 2 Days

Details :
1. Participants need to capture the whole event.
2. The participant has to edit the photos on the given time.
3. Participant needs to bring their own Camera or Phone to click
the pictures and to edit them.
4. Participant can edit the clicked images according to their need,
using any suitable software.
5. Three best images will be published in the school magazine.
6. The participant have to submit maximum of 10 photos.
7. Team zest is not responsible for any technical issues arising while
transferring and editing the photos.
 Vid Master
No. of Participants: 1
Time: 2 Days

Details :
1. Each participant will have to shoot a documentary right form the
opening ceremony.
2. The participant has to edit the videos on the given time.
3. Participant needs to bring their own Camera or Phone to Shoot the
videos.
4. Participant has to edit their video using mobile phone only.
5. Team zest is not responsible for any technical issue arising due to
compatibility of the videos.
6. The duration of the documentary should be 2-3 minutes.
7. The best documentary will be shown in the closing ceremony.
 Drama Theatre
No. of Participants: 2 - 4
Time : 2 hours

Details :
1. Each team is required to prepare an act revolving around the theme
“War Crisis Around World”.
2. Medium of act is ENGLISH only.
3. Any type of vulgar language or nuisance activity is strictly
prohibited and if found, the team will be eliminated.
4. Each team will be given 6 minutes to act out play.
5. Each team will be required to bring props.
6. Sound and props should be submitted on the registration
desk.
7. Duration of play must not exceed 6 minutes.
 Hunky Brains

No. of Participants: 2

Time : 1 + 1 Hours

Details :

1. This event will take place in 2 rounds.

2. First round will be written and second round will be on stage.
3. Use of electronic device is strictly prohibited.
4. The theme will be revolving around SCIENCE and SOCIAL STUDIES.
 Gold Diggers

No.of Participants: Whole Team + Teacher Escort

Time : 3 Hours

Details :
1. This is a treasure hunt of event.
2. Each team will be accompanied by respective Team Zest
student escort .
3. Rules and regulations will be disclosed on the spot .
 Fitness Freak
No.of Participants: 2 (One Boy & One Girl)

Time : 2 Hours

Details :
1. This is a fitness challenge event.
2. Participants have to carry their kit (T-shirt & Shorts)
3. The event will contain challenges like pushups, squats
planks etc.
4. The whole judgement will be done on the basis of
timing.
5. The Timings for pushups,squats,planks is 90 seconds .
 Beach Volleyball

No.of Participants: 2 + 2 (Two Boys & Two Girls)

Time : 3 Hours

Details :
1. The match will be of 15 points per set.
2. Match will be of 3 sets.
3. All other rules will be followed according to Volleyball
Federation of India.
 Pull Me If You Can
No.of Participants: 6 ( 3 Boys + 3 Girls)

Time : 2 Hours

Details :
1. This is a tug of war event.
2. Each team need to pull the rope along with the members of opposition
team to their side.
3. Each team weight should be 480 kg.
4. As soon as the second mark on the rope from the center red mark crosses
centre line, the team to pull the rope to their areas wins the game.
5. The decision of the Team Zest will be final and unobjectionable.
6. This is a knockout event.
 Bullseye

No.of Participants: 1 + 1 (One Boy & One Girl)

Time : 2 Hours

Details :
1. This is a Dart event.
2. Each player takes a turn in, throwing 3 darts in a row.
3. The team who scores the maximum number of points wins the
event.
 Dodge Ball

No.of Participants: 4 + 4 (Four Boys & four Girls)

Time : 1.5 Hours

Details :
1. Each team needs to eliminate all players of the opposing team by
throwing balls and hitting the opposing player below the waist.
2. This is a knockout event.
3. The decision of the Team zest will be final and unobjectionable.
