The UG Chemistry syllabus covers the basics of the subjects very well and includes advanced topics systematically from the first to sixth semesters. The scope of the framed syllabus provides a good basic understanding of Chemistry subjects at the UG level. While the overall syllabus is approved as is, some enhancements are suggested: introducing basics of physical chemistry earlier, separating organic and inorganic chemistry into separate papers, and including an analytical chemistry paper in the final year.

Review comments on UG syllabus of Chemistry
The UG Chemistry syllabus from I semester to VI semester has been planned
systematically. The syllabus covers the basics of the subjects very well and also it includes the advanced topics subsequently. The scope of the framed syllabus to give a basic understanding of various subjects of Chemistry to the students at UG level is very much appreciated. On the whole the syllabus can be approved in the present form.
The following points may be considered to further enrich the syllabus to motivate the students for their research career in future.
1. Basics of Physical chemistry paper may be introduced in the I and II semester
syllabus itself. 2. The subject code C3CC6 which titled as Organic & Inorganic Chemistry may be separated into two papers in which Organic chemistry and Inorganic chemistry shall be planned individually. 3. Analytical Chemistry paper may be planned in the Final year either in V or VI semester.
