Linsûl Mar-i-Fingon, the Harpist, writes a letter to Dread Lord Morthaur praising Queen Ardana's discovery of an un-shining jewel and hoping the rest will be found swiftly. They also relay a message about the death of Eldarion during torture and the skills of Morelen Lioniel. Additionally, they write that they believe they met the elf Klaen of Tumlinde, posing as a bard named Elemir, and that he is an elven mage who will one day battle the Council of Twelve so he must be killed now, requesting to be the one to do so.

Early morning, the Eleventh of September in the Year of the Doom of
the Trees 5283
Dread Lord Morthaur, Sword of the Council of Twelve,
I humbly present praise to Queen Ardana for her glorious discovery of
the first un-shining jewel. May it be that the rest will be reunited swiftly.
Lady Rillia Morgulwen sends a message of the death of Eldarion of
the Secret Guild. He was captured inside Naurlindol and died under torture. His staff of power broke in battle with Lady Rillia. Morelen Lioniel continues to gain in skill and has great wisdom. Give the queen my gratitude and praise for me for sending her daughter.
I write of meeting an elf who I believe is Klaen of Tumlinde. We met
in the Laureduin in the city of Korlan. He was under the name of Elemir and posing as a bard. We spoke for a long time and almost I had him in my bed chamber but he stopped and I had to let him go. I know that he is an elven mage and someday will battle the Council of Twelve. He must be killed now. I wish to be the arm of the Council in this deed.
