STUDENT VISA REQUIREMENTS

For students who are not Cameroonian citizens. Please follow these directions.
1) An approved Cameroon student visa. Consult with the Cameroonian consulate or
embassy closest to you as to the student visa application to study in Cameroon. You
shall be told what you need. Contact the University at the above email address to get
the necessary information for your visa interview. The University Visa Services will
assist foreign students apply for student visas in Cameroon, if they are already in
Cameroon under a different visa status. Foreign nationals with visiting visas or other
visa status are also welcome to come and explore the university for possible admission,
after which the university can assist in their student visa application. The university shall

not admit foreign nationals who are not in legal immigration/visiting status in Cameroon.
2) A notarized copy of your birth certificate.
3) Your original passport and 2 passport size pictures.
4) A notarized copy of the police clearance certificate from the part of the country
where you have been residing for the past 6 months.
6.A refundable deposit of $200.00 is required. This amount is refunded upon
graduation.
5) A notarized bank statement from your sponsor or parents bank.
7) 2 notarized copies of the document that says you passed your HIV test.
8) VDRL (venereal disease)
9) Chest x-ray.
10) Mantoux for Tuberculosis.
11) Vaccines: HBV, TB, typhoid, cholera, etc.
12) Your acceptance letter that you received.
13) A return ticket to the country you will be returning to. Make sure the ticket is
valid for a minimum of 1 year. Take Notice: All these documents should be mailed in
their entirety to Taniform University at the Bamenda Campus (along with a color copy of
your passport and the visa page). Keep the original copy with you when you arrive.
The copies shall be kept with the consultant bureau of your country of origin. Please
make sure ALL your documents are notarized. Be sure to retain a notarized copy for
your own records as well.
