SPOKEN PRODUCTION – 10TH GRADE

Ano letivo: 2022/2023

General Tips how to ace a presentation:

✓ Make sure that you do research to include interesting facts that grab the public’s attention;
✓ Make sure that it is well organised. It will be easy to understand, and your public will enjoy listening to it.

Preparing your presentations:

✓ Presentations should be 3-5 minutes long;
✓ You can use a visual support what you are saying. However visual supports like slides should only have pictures
and a few words on them;
✓ Only include sentences if they are quotes;
✓ Only use cards with topics/ key words on them so that you are not tempted to read your presentation;
✓ Avoid the temptation to only speak to and look at your teacher;
✓ Look at your classmates in different corners of your classroom so that everyone feels like you are looking at
them. This will help involve your audience in your presentation.
