1. Comunication and transmition standard

Alvo Integra system uses RS232 communication interface for control Draeger Polaris 600
operating lamp. Only the lines ExD, TxD and GND are in use.

Communications parameters:

2. Power supplies connection – Polaris 600

For proper operation of the Integration System synchronization of power supplies is required.

Connect them to the terminals 9 and 10 as shown in the figure

3. Integration Interface connection – Polaris 600

It is necessary to connect the power supply to the OR interface, as shown in the figure below -
terminals 13 and 14

4. Network interfaces priority – Polaris 600

It is required to set system numbers for A and B switches, to each power supply to connect it to a
network. Below table with settings and draft with switches

Light Head 1 with camera A=1 B=1

Light Head 2 A=2 B=1
Light Head 3 A=3 B=1

4. OR interface configuration – Polaris 600

DIP switches configuration

DIP switch number 1 should be set to ON

DIP switech 2-6 should be set to OFF (bellow photo)

System Numbers Configuration

It is required to set each system numbers switches at OR interface – table and draft bellow:

1 A=1 B=1

2 A=2 B=1

3 A=3 B=1

5. Connection Polaris 600 to the Alvo Integra system

For control Draeger Polaris 600 operating lamp from Alvo Integra system is required IOR
Interface with is supplied by Draeger.
