    1. Reflection question: In your own opinion, was it a right decision for Rizal to keep his travel
    abroad secret from his parents? Why?
    - In my opinion, it was not the right decision for Rizal to keep his travel abroad secret from his
    parents. Even though his intention was for their safety and to avoid possible interference, his
    lack of communication could have caused his parents anxiety and stress. Moreover, his parents
    were always supportive of him. They could have offered him support and guidance. I believe
    that open communication with your parents still matters. At the end of the day, Teodora Alonzo
    and Francisco Mercado gave him his intellect.

    1. As a youth of today, what is your message in our country?
    "To my country, open your eyes."
    We are slowly reliving what has transpired before. The prices of our basic needs are
    rising, and our government is signing confidential funds, the destination of which is unclear. As a
    country that has experienced a corrupt government, why do we keep giving these beneficiaries
    an opportunity to enjoy things that do not belong to them? Why do we want to awaken the
    sleeping kraken? Open your eyes because in the next few years, we are about to see if the
    sleeping kraken still resides within their souls and will once again devour us Filipinos.

    2. What are the things you are willing to sacrifice for our country? Explain.

    Things to Sacrifice Explanation


    - I am willing to sacrifice my freedom. - When I was studying at PUP, I learned that
    sacrificing your freedom for others is better
    than keeping silent and ignorant.
    - I am willing to sacrifice my clothes. - A lot of Filipinos find it hard to purchase new
    clothes as the prices are rising. I want to help
    them by lending it few clothes.
    - I am willing to sacrifice my food. - The price of our basic needs is rising, I will
    help my fellow Filipinos to at least suffice their
    basic needs.
