Learning Competencies: Classify bathroom supplies according to types and functions

Objective: At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to;
1. Classify bathroom supplies according to types and functions.
2. Use bathroom supplies efficiently.
3. Practice cleanliness always.

Topic: Types of Bathroom Supplies

Learning across curriculum:


1) Mathematics - Calculate the cost of different bathroom supplies based on their prices per unit
and quantities needed for a certain period of time.
2) Science - Study the chemical composition and properties of bathroom cleaning agents and their
effects on different surfaces.
3) English - Write a persuasive essay on the importance of maintaining cleanliness in the
bathroom and the benefits it brings to personal hygiene.

Activity : Classifying Bathroom Supplies

Significance: This activity aims to develop students' ability to classify bathroom supplies
according to their types and functions.
Instructions:
1) Divide the class into groups.
2) Distribute different bathroom supplies to each group.

Significance: This activity aims to teach students how to use bathroom supplies efficiently to
minimize waste and maximize their effectiveness.
Instructions:
1) Demonstrate to students the proper amount of bathroom supplies to use for different purposes
(e.g. soap, toothpaste, cleaning agents).
2) Have students practice using the supplies in a hands-on activity, such as washing their hands or
cleaning a small area of the classroom.
3) Discuss with students the importance of using the supplies in appropriate quantities and how it
can contribute to cost savings and environmental sustainability.

2) Set a timer and have students search for the listed supplies in their own bathrooms or a
designated area.
3) Students should collect the supplies and bring them back to the classroom.
4) As a class, review the collected supplies and discuss their types and functions.
