E. PARTICIPANTS:
F. OVERVIEW & Water Sanitation and Hygiene in School is very important specially this time of
RATIONALE: pandemic for ensuring the safety of teachers, parents, students and other who come
in the school. relative to Division Memo No. 085 s,2021.This search aims to:
 Recognize school/teachers in their effective and efficient implementation of
WinS program and highlight best practices in program implementation.
 Motivate WinS Program implementers to continue improving the quality of
implementation;and
 Create a clean,safe and COVID19 responsive school environment.
G. GOAL /OBJECTIVES:  To prepare the school for the WinS monitoring and evaluation.
 To raise the level of awareness in maintaining the cleanliness within the
school premises and follow the COVID19 Health protocol.
 To encourage parents, students and staff to perform their duties and
responsibilities.
 To develop the sense of responsibility on their respective territories.
 To ensure the safety of students, parent and staff.
 To promote health and environmental education.
H. GUIDELINES:  Class advisers will assist the parents and students in preparing the contest
starting on April 19, 2020.
 Need to prepare per classroom/section:
 Proper trash can for proper segregation of solid waste. Composed of 3
labels (Recyclable, Biodegradable and Non-biodegradable)
 Updated post of class BEIS, and COVID19 Health Protocol
 Clean drinking water for every room
 Updated NDEP, Yes-O, DRRM and WinS Corner post or display.
 Availability of alcohol or handsanitizer, first aid kit and sanitary napkin.
 School level evaluation will be done on April 23,2021, by the WinS Technical
Working Committee (school level)
 The selection committee will select Top 5 Classrooms to be awarded as the
winners on April 26, 2021.

In line with the Division Memo. No.166,s.2023 “ PROJECT SUSTAINING, STRENGTHENING AND
SUPPORTING THREE- STAR SCHOOLS. The Water Sanitation and Hygiene in School or “WinS”
monitoring team was scheduled for Evaluation & Validation in our Schools this month of June, 2023.

In view of this, we will be having the said activity:

June 7, 2023 - Clean-up drive

June 09, 2023 - Pre- evaluation for the School Based “Search for Teacher Category
as Best Wins Implementers Teacher in School.

Class advisers are advised to encourage and guide the student and parent to participate for the
improvement of our school as a HALL OF FAMER this year.

Need to prepare per section:

 Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness inside their respective classrooms and territories for our
expected or unexpected visitors.
 Proper trash can with properly segregated waste. Composed of 4 label.
 Covid19 Health Protocol or Posted the updated I.E.C. (Information Education Communication)
 Clean drinking water for every room with drinking bottle or glasses containing the label of used and
unused glasses.
 Updated NDEP corner, YES-O, DRRM, Class BIES and WinS Corner.
 First aid kit and hygiene kit
 Available sanitary pad/ napkin.
 Maintain the cleanliness of CR with available soap and posted the label and IEC.

Updated post of Covid Protocol,Class BEIS, 30%

available sanitary napkin, and with first aid
kit/box.

Potable water with glasses inside the

classroom/ drinking facilities.
Classrooms with NDEP, WinS, YES- O and 25%
DRRM post corner (observing recycling used of
materials).
Recycled materials display 10%
Total 100%
