Extension kit for VarioBoom

For more visibility and additional information

The extension kit allows you to increase the visibility of the barrier
boom and place information, warnings or advertising in the direct
field of view of users.
The extension kit is available for all MHTM™ MicroDrive barriers
with VarioBoom and comprises a profile rail with edge protection,
an end piece and mounting components. It is available in two
different versions with a clear height of 100 mm or of 175 mm
between barrier boom profile and lower profile rail. The extension
kit can be used with barrier widths up to 5.0 m.
For barrier widths greater than 3.5 m, a PS02 hinged support
must be fitted. The use of support posts or boom interlocks is not
possible in conjunction with the extension kit.
For the placement of text and image elements, prepared signs
made of aluminium are available for direct installation between
barrier boom profile and extension kit. They are supplied in a kit
each containing two signs and mounting components and can be
customised with adhesive foils, screen printing or other methods.
