a. Rules of Noon Silent and Tanween
Noon Silent means; Noon without Fatha, Dama and Kasra.
Tanween means; Two Fatha, Two Dama and Two kasra.
(Fthateen, Damateen, Kasrateen)
1. Izhar: means; Clear
There are 6 letters in Izhar. ‫ء ه ع ح غ خ‬
2. Ikhfa: means; Hide ‫ت ث ج د ذ ز س ش ص ض ط ظ ف ق ك ط‬
3. Idgham means; Mix ‫ي ر م ل و ن‬
4. Iqlaab means; Change: ‫ب‬
How to apply the rules of Noon silent and Tanween?
We will identify Noon silent or Tanween first, than we will check which
letter comes after it and according to that we will apply the rule.
b. Qalqalah:
Qalqalah means; Echo(Bouncing sound)
When we find letter of qalqalah with sukoon or at the end of verse or
word we need to make echo sound.
Letters of Qalqalah are: (‫ د‬.‫ ج‬.‫ ب‬.‫ ط‬.‫قطب جد )ق‬
Types of Qalqalah:
 1. Sugra or small: If the letter of qalqlah will be in the middle of
word. Example are:

2. Kubra or Big: When the letter of Qalqalah will be at the end or

word or verse. Example are:

Q3. Sajda-e-Tilawa (Recitation)
Step 1: Stand still in Qiyam and say Allah hu Akabr
Step 2: Will go in Sajda and recite Dua’a of Sajda or say Subhan a Rabi al
Alaa three times.
Step 3: We will get up without Salam
