STEP ONE

1. WHAT IS GLOBAL WARMING?

Global warming is the term hearting of earth’s climax system observed since pre industrial
period between 1550 and 1900 due to human activities primarily fossil fuels burning which
increase heat trapping greenhouse gas level in earth’s atmosphere

CONTINENTS THAT WHERE SEVERELY EFFECTED BY GOBAL WARMING?

Russia
China
Mongolia
Australia

PURPOSE FOR MY REASERCH

The purpose for my research is to develop curriculum that uses the topic of climax to change as
a context for teaching standards-based research skills to secondary schools' students. Students
are better to understand scientific issues if they develop research skills.
STEP TWO
COUNTRIES THAT ARE LEAST AT RISK AND MOST AT RISK FROM GLOBAL WARMING;
LEAST AT RISK MOST AT RISK
Australia Ethiopia
United States China
Canada Sudan

2
STEP THREE
CAUSES OF GLOBAL WARMING
1. INDUSTRIALIZATION
Industrialization is harmful in a variety of ways. The waste this industry produces all ends up in
landfills environment and these chemicals can not only pollute the atmosphere but also the soil
underneath it.

2. FARMING
Farming takes up a lot of green space meaning local environment can be destroyed to create
space for farming. Because animals produce a lot of greenhouse gases which causes extra
pollution.

3 BURNING FOSSIL FUELS

When we burn fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas to create electricity or power our cars, we
release CO2 pollution into the atmosphere which causes global warming

3
4. GARBAGE
As trash breaks down in landfills, it releases methane and nitrous oxide gases approximately
80% of methane gas in the atmosphere comes from waste disposal and treatment

5. PERMAFROST
The melting of permafrost releases tons of trapped greenhouse gases which further speeds up
the melting of more permafrost

6. Fertilizer
The use of nitrogen-rich fertilizers increases the amount of heat cropland can store

4
STEP FOUR
EFFECTS OF GLOBAL WARMING ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND ECONOMY

1. ECOSYSTEM DISTRUPTIONS
–Shift in farms crop zones and more forest fires due to dry and windy conditions.
2. INCREASE MORTALITY
-Old people are dying due to sickness such as heart stock
3. MELTING GLACIERS
- Water expands as it warms, resulting in the rise in sea level, leading to floods.
4. DAMAGE TO YOUR HOME
-Floods the most common and deadly natural disasters will likely be exacerbated and
intensified by sea level rise and extreme weather
5. WATER QUALITY COULD SUFFER
-Heavy storms can result to dirty water runoff picks up pollutants from streets and can overflow
sewage allowing untreated sewage to enter drinking water supplies
6. MORE ALLERGIES AND ORTHER HEALTH RISK
-Warmer temperatures cause the pollen season to be longer and worsen air quality both of
which can result in more allergy and asthma attacks

5
STEP FIVE

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS TO REDUCE THE IMPACTS BROUGHT ABOUT BY GLOBAL WARMING;

1. REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
-Reduce waste by choosing reusable products instead of disposables buy products with
minimal packaging. Recycle paper, glass and newspapers

2. DRIVE LESS AND SMARTER

-You can go surfing with friends or when you driving make sure your car is running efficiently

3. USE LESS HOT WATER

-Set your water heater at a lower temperate to save energy and you must wash your clothes
with cold water to reduce your use of hot water

6
4. PLANT A TREE OR TWO
-If you can plant a tree start digging now during photosynthesis trees absorb carbon dioxide
and give off oxygen

5. USE LESS HEAT AND AIR CONDITIONING

-Adding insulation to your walls or installing weather stripping around doors or windows can
lower your hearting cost

6. GO SOLAR
-Switching to solar energy eases on fossil fuels and they will be less coal that use to create
electricity

7
STEP SIX

ADAPTATION TO CLIMAT AND GLOBAL WAMING

Botswana- they must use LED lights it uses up to 80 percent less energy and it’s also cheaper
South Africa-They should build more trees because they are a lot of deserts to stop climate
change by removing carbon dioxide from the air
Kenya-they need to overcome drought and they can also adapt by reducing their volubility to its
impacts so they need to plant
Ghana- infrastructural and the use of renewable resources like solar systems, and they need to
plant new crops that will thrive under new climate conditions
Senegal-They are forced to move to higher latitudes and higher altitudes where temperature is
better for chances of survival

CONCLUSION
The conclusion confirms that Global warming is the major challenge for our global society.
There is very little doubt that Global warming will change our climate in the next centaury’s
what are the solutions to Global warming? First, there must be international political solutions.
Second, Finding for developing cheap and clean energy production must be increased, as all
economic development is based on increasing energy usage. People should also start making
use of the possible solutions to decrease the impacts brought by “GLOBAL WARMING’’
