CONCLUSION
INTRODUCTION
The world is made of various civilizations, each with its own culture. This
situation has a name: interculturalism. The term interculturalism refers to the
diversity of cultures and the dialogues that exist between them. The broadness
of this theme led us to base our work on the cultures of different African
nations. Why did we choose Africa? Simply because from a cultural point of
view, Africa is the richest continent with 54 nations, all of which are
differentiated by their customs and traditions. Throughout our work we will
talk to you about Senegal, Benin and Chad which are our countries of origin and
we invite you to follow us to discover the beauty of interculturalism.

I.What is interculturalism ?
1.Definition
The notion of interculturalism represents all the interactions between distinct
cultures, with the objective of respecting and preserving cultural identities. It
allows us to take into account the differences of the other, in an egalitarian
relationship. Interculturalism is an approach that is equally important in the
world of business and education, but also and above all in the social field.

2.The culture of

a- Benin
Benin is located in the Gulf of Guinea. This country is famous for being the
cradle of the practice of "vodoun". Formerly called Dahomey, Benin is the seat
of an important historical and cultural heritage. Its current capital is the city of
Porto-Novo. French is the official language of Benin. Nigerian English is used in
business. The most commonly spoken languages are Fongbe, Gengbe or Mina,
Yoruba, Baatonu and Dendi. The main ethnic groups present in Benin are the
Fon, Adja, Yoruba, Goun, Bariba, Betamaribe and Peuls. It is worth noting that
the majority of the population (80%) is animist (voodoo). Voodoo, of which
Benin is the cradle, is a traditional polytheistic cult based on the idea that God
is in everything and everywhere in the universe. The word voodoo comes from
the Fon "vodoun". It designates the set of practices performed in order to
obtain something from the gods, to thank them for or to ask them for a favor
through.

b- Chad
Located in the center of Africa, Chad is a huge country, it is the 5th largest
country in Africa. Its capital is N'djaména. French and Arabic are official langage
of the teritory . But there are about two hundred and sixteen (216) dialects
spoken in the country . Chad is made up of several ethnic such as zaghawa,
Gourane, Hadjaray, Tandjilé, Sara… However, there are about two hundred and
sixteen (216) Chad is full of an indescribable culinary wealth, facilitated by its
multitude of ethnicities. However, there are federating dishes that have
become legendary such as Hèche, which is a rice flour porridge. Men and
women eat in a circle around the tray placed on a table, on mats, but never
separately.

c- Senegal
From the most isolated villages to the trendy places of Dakar the capital,
Senegalese culture is characterized in particular by its taste for traditional
sports (fighting), music (mbalax), dance (sabar), Clothing (traditional
Senegalese outfits), creative and ingenious work of all materials at hand,
moments of conviviality related to meals and parties. Thieboudienne is the
essential Senegalese national dish. Wolofs,Peulhs, Séreres, Diolas, Malinkés
and many others form a mosaic of cultures that intertwine to erect Senegalese
identity united around the "Teranga". Family, friends, passing guests, all gather
around a unique dish called the " Bowl". These moments of sharing, are the
symbol of this unity where Muslims, Christians and animists now coexist in
peace.

II.The aspect of our differents cultures that can be

marketed :

1.Art in Benin
The art of Benin appeared to be one of the most remarkable of all Africa. It was
above all a royal art. The objects, statuettes, stylized heads, in particular,
representing historical scenes, all cast with lost wax, were reserved for the use
of the king, whether ritual or profane. It is this art of bronze that is certainly the
best known. This art, original and badly known, can support the economic
development of the country. Indeed, one can create museums or make
exhibition sessions which will act as excellent "bait" for the tourists. It will also
allow to propagate the history of Benin throughout the world and will be able
to give him a certain notoriety

2. Religious tolerance in Chad

Chad is a secular country where religious freedom is guaranteed by law; islam

and Christianity are the two main religions practiced. Despite the conflicts that
Chad has known, there is a climate of tolerance and understanding between
the different religions. To this end, a day of prayer is celebrated every year by
the religious.

3.Teranga in Senegal
Senegalese hospitality, more commonly called TERANGA, refers to the values of
hospitality, sharing and solidarity that exist in Senegal. This term, proudly
claimed, reminds us that the country has always been a place of mixing of
peoples and cultures. Despite the differences in origins and cultures, one's
home is another's home and we consider ourselves members of the same
family. This is reflected in the way the Senegalese treat each other or their
guests. Indeed, tourists enjoy a warm welcome when they visit "The Land of
Teranga" whatever their religion or origin. This aspect of Senegalese culture
could, if well used, allow the development of tourism. This would be a great
asset for the development of the country as tourism in Senegal is the second
largest source of income after fishing. In 2018, it represented 6% of the GDP
and generated nearly 100,000 jobs.

Conclusion
Throughout our work we have been able to discover the beauty of
interculturalism through the different cultures we have studied. Indeed,
interculturalism favors interactions, rapprochements, exchanges, joint
initiatives between all the components of society, both to better serve the
objective of integration and to counter the stereotypes that feed discrimination
and exclusion. In general, it is presented as the interaction and communication
between cultures, respecting diversity, which is its beauty.
