organization of the Far Eastern University under the Institute
of Accounts, Business, and Finance (IABF) and a duly
recognized local chapter of the National Federation of Junior
Philippine Institute of Accountants - National Capital Region
Council (NFJPIA-NCR). We are an organization that primarily
serves the student body under the programs of Bachelor of
Science in Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Internal
Auditing.

Venue: Science Building Room 201
Target Participants: 48 students in total; 12 students per year level

The Far Eastern University Manila – Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants

(FEU-JPIA Manila) will conduct an event entitled Battle of the Brains: Aboard the
Unrivaled Galleon with the theme, “Sailing the Waves of Excellence.” The event is an intra
school accounting quiz bowl competition open to all FEU-JPIA Manila members currently
enrolled in BS in Accountancy and BS in Internal Auditing programs.

This intra school accounting quiz bowl competition is one of the events provided
by the organization to fulfill its mission of promoting excellence among its members. The
event is structured so that FEU-JPIA Manila members can exhibit their knowledge and
interpersonal skills. The participants will answer several sets of questions about the
different areas of accounting, along with items on general subjects pertaining to general
knowledge, FEU facts and trivia, current events, and Sustainable Development Goals. In
addition to showcasing academic excellence, the event is an opportunity for the members
to interact and build camaraderie with their fellow members. Hence, as an event that
fosters academic excellence and interpersonal relationships, Battle of the Brains: Aboard
the Unrivaled Galleon serves as a stepping stone for the FEU-JPIA Manila members who
have embarked on a daring journey to realize their ambitions and goals.
