Backal Hospitality Group is seeking to hire a driven and dynamic professional to

join our team as a Public Relations Specialist.

This position will work under the direction of the Vice President of Sales and
Marketing and will provide support in establishing the overarching messaging
and communications strategy for Backal Hospitality Group and its portfolio of
companies. Successful candidates will work in partnership with the Vice
President of Sales and Marketing to maximize public relations efforts and to
ensure overall messaging consistency.

The incumbent will foster media relationships, develop and execute on strategic
public relations campaigns, help build brand awareness, and enhance brand
reputation across BHG’s entities. Additionally, this position is responsible for
preparing, drafting and editing media materials including news releases, boiler
plates, media briefings, media alerts and ensuring consistent messaging and
alignment with BHG’s overall PR goals and marketing initiatives.

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in media

relations (preferably with a focus on lifestyle and/or food & beverage); exemplary
editing, proofreading, writing and verbal communication skills; polished
executive presence and the ability to interface effectively with all staff levels.
