'It was a bright cold day in April...'

You have recently taken up a fiction-writing workshop. This week’s task requires the
participants to write a story that must begin with a well-known line from a book 'It was
a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen' (George Orwell, 1949).
The best story will be published in the UN Global Citizen Journal to mark the
International Day of Friendship and to promote friendship as a form of human
solidarity. Write a short story following the above-mentioned first line to celebrate
