Cat® 797F, 795F,

793F, 777F and
777G VIMS™
Interconnectivity
with Tire
Monitoring
Systems

Caterpillar is pleased to announce the 797F, 795F, 793F,

777F and the 777G can now use the Cat® Interface Module
to integrate third party tire monitoring systems.

Cat Large Mining trucks now have an open architecture for

tire inputs, allowing third party tire monitoring systems, such
as Bridgestone’s B-Tag and Rimex’s Tyresense, to seamlessly
transmit tire heat, pressure and compensated pressure to both
the operator and the mine office in real time through VIMS.

Mine maintenance and operations teams can use this data

to make more informed management decisions on machines,
tires and haul roads. The information can be analyzed using
VIMSpc, Minestar and third party tire management software.
