A warm and gracious morning to every one of us who have

gathered today for such a significant Information Caravan. First and

foremost, I extend my gratitude towards ZONTA and its lady warrior
members for continuously fighting for representation and equality
and for sharing their valuable knowledge and expertise with us,
here in Enrile.

Our municipality is built on the principles of unity and

progress. However, we cannot deny that the presence of gender-
based violence and the lack of proper information revolving such is
a pressing issue that needs to be addressed. Today is a great
opportunity for us to learn and engage in conversations that will
pave way for Enrile to be a haven where the voices of everyone,
regardless of gender, echoes with strength.

As we go through each topic, let’s remain conscious that our

learnings, our words and our actions today are personal
investments for a future where every woman, regardless of her role
in society, can thrive without fear and prejudice. Within the small
confines of this room, let’s open our hearts to each other’s stories
and actively participate, as we embrace our roles as advocates for
change.

Again, to ZONTA, the event organizers and all attendees, I

express my deepest gratitude for your commitment to this cause.
May the insights we gain today ripple through the corridors of our
community and lead to a future where no woman endures the
shackles of gender-based violence. Thank you.
