Project Title: Building the A Team

Project Start Date: 4/1/23

Project End Date: 4/3/23

Project Manager: Victoria Hernandez Store Manager

Stakeholders/Roles: Melvin Gibbs Assistant Store Manager

Mar Lopez/Keyholder Tony Rigby/Keyholder Sandy Stillman/Keyholder

Joe Woodward/Keyholder Alexa Chobani/Keyholder Robert Keith/Keyholder

Project Description:
Planning a work retreat for the shift team. The six of us would like to have the opportunity
to team build and bond. Store manager will plan two half hour team building exercises and
the Assistant store manager will lead an icebreaker activity to close the leadership session
daily. During this time, we hope to establish good rapport and camaraderie. This will
ultimately lead to more effectiveness and operational excellence. To measure the success of
this workshop we will conduct pre and post surveys.

Project Objectives
By the end of the retreat the following objectives will be delivered:

-All the participants will display an increased working relationship by a comparison of

pre/post surveys

-At Three weeks post workshop overall KPI’s will increase

-Each participant will be able to identify two tools or resources to use in the workplace to
enhance the environment

This project will be deemed a success if all parties engage in the process. Through the team
building exercises each leader will grow with their team. Prior to embarking on this trek a
Microsoft form survey will be sent to each participant to gage where they are in their
leadership approach and how they currently feel about the team dynamics. The results of
this survey will be reviewed before and after the camping trip so that they can be
compared. The store manager and Assistant store manager will follow up week over week to
evaluate metric movement. After three weeks of the new team dynamic KPI’s will trend in
productivity as well as profit. This leadership team will be reengaged and executing
excellence. Lastly, the key learnings taken away from the overall retreat will be validated in
the moment using coaching conversations led by the participants. The store manager and
Assistant store manager will ask for feedback to knowledge check the entire team.

Project Assumptions

-An assumption that will occur when moving forward with this project is each member will
participate.

-Another assumption that can be made is that everyone will have key takeaways from this
experience.

Project Constraints

-A potential constraint on this project would be access to limited resources (Technology and
Phone services) due to location.

-Another constraint would be a team member choosing to not participate.

These constraints can be prepared for and potentially controlled with commitment to
achieving success. The preparation of workshop leadership materials can be started ahead
of time so that there is no concern for phone service. Setting the expectation early on with
the team so that every individual is clear and aligned with what to expect.

Procurement Plan

Listed here are the resources and materials needed for this project:
