My Daily Journal

Today is the back of the school day of the learners. Since we are came from the Christmas and
new years celebration so I and my cooperating teacher decide to give the learners their new year’s
resolution. While their doing their new year’s resolution I decide to have some conservation about their
experience last year. After doing their new year’s resolution I decide to make them happy by reading
some works of their classmates. Some students decide to let go their feelings as their new year’s
resolution and some of others will promise themselves to be more attentive and focus in their school
works. Every section I handled is have the same activity but have different new year’s resolution and
promises. There is a student that change their personality and some of them change their behavior. I
ask them about what is happening on their Christmas. I have students that celebrate her Christmas in
US. Imagine there is a student in this school that celebrate her Christmas in US. This is public school so
who expect that there is a student which can afford and celebrate her Christmas in US.

My Journal
Today is officially the start of the class, but before we start on our new lesson we decide that we
give the learners a refresher. After the everyday routine the prayer and checking the attendance I decide
to have a recall from our last topic some students catch the last lesson but most of them didn’t maybe
because they have a hang over on their Christmas and new year’s resolution. After the recall of the last
lesson we give them a short quiz about our last lesson. After giving the quiz I introduce our new lesson
to them. All of my handled section have the same routine. There is always a section that make your
good day turns into a bad day. My last section always make my head ache. They treat me like a friend
but as always I make them feel that I have authority to them so my class had always interrupt because of
them. I always shout and smash the board to make them silent. I always want to hurt them because I
feel that they don’t have respect on me but I always control myself to make that not happen. But I thank
myself for being have a long patience. I will always proud of my improvement. I realized that the quote
of Small Progress is still a Progress is true.

My Journal

Today is Friday and as usual a lot of learners didn’t attend the class today. For my first subject
me and my cooperating teacher talk about my final demo on what strategies I need to do and what
information I need to make my final demo successful. My cooperating teacher guide on what flow is I
need and what topic I need to create a lesson plan. While we are talking our learners make their
learning exercise for their self-development. Leaning task make them productive and quiet because all
they know is it will be recorded. I realized that if the learners didn’t know that their activity will not be
recorded they will do the task because of fear and every activity I gave to them is if they didn’t do it they
will be parents needed and they can’t take the exam and the class also. Every class we take in this day
are so smooth and relax because I have a back up from my cooperating teacher.

My Daily Journal

Monday is always a bad day because of the weekends are so short and it makes us
jetlag. For todays video I take a demonstration for my last day demonstration teaching. For the first class
I make a dry run demonstration to practice what I need to do and what I need to practice to make my
demonstration teaching get a high grade. After my first class my cooperating teacher talk me about my
dry run on what I need to do and to improve for my next dry run. For my second dry run I teach the
learners on about our topic finish my lesson plan activity. After second dry run my cooperating teacher
told me that I did better than my first subject and while we are going to our third subject which is my
chosen section for my third teaching demonstration. My cooperating teacher need to go to faculty for
some reason but she said that she can attend on our third subject and she still evaluate me based on
what she saw. While I am in my abstraction my cooperating teacher came and she started evaluate my
performance. I am happy that my students is so cooperative even some learners are naughty and have
some misbehavior which make me interrupt sometimes. I still focus on my lesson and until the end I end
my demonstrating teacher by closing prayer and give thanks to the learners. My cooperating teacher
smiled and said I did well and gave me a shake hands that make my self confidence boost and very
happy about the result of what I’ve done.

MY DAILY JOURNAL

Tuesday is the new day and new struggle for our final demo teaching. On this day my
cooperating teacher assigned me on what topic I need to create a lesson plan for my final demo. She
gave me some advice and taught me some strategies. My cooperating teacher assigned me to gave the
students a summative test for our last lesson to have a minute to think what I need to do and what
visual I need to make. On this day it make me so busy and makes me nervous because of my cooperating
teacher told me who she belong to evaluate my performance. She told me to not get nervous and act
like it’s a normal day that we always did. At the end of our class my cooperating teacher check my
printed lesson plan and advise what some things I need to change and nee to improve to make my
lesson plan more effective and make it correct so that the master teachers who got the final check of my
lesson plan will less their work and give advice on what I need to change. After my cooperating teacher
check my lesson plan she advice that retype my lesson plan and gave her another hard copy so that she
will ask the master teachers to check it. After she told me that she ask me that I can go so I have a time
to change and create a new lesson plan and have a rest. So that I go home study my lesson plan and
retype it so that tomorrow the master teachers can check it for final adjustment and corrections.
