A community is like a big team of people who live or work together in the same place. Think
about your family, school, where you live, and even the whole town – those are all
communities. In a community, everyone has something similar with each other. But guess
what? Even though we're alike in some ways, we can also be super different, and that's cool!
We call this being diverse. Diverse communities mean there are people with lots of different
lifestyles. Some might be from other countries, and they might even speak different
languages. It's like having a big group of friends who are all special in their own way!

Remember that culture is not always the same. Some cultures even
change over time. For example, Brazilian culture was different many
years ago. People in Brazil did not live the way they do now. They
wore different clothes and survived in different ways. The early years
in Brazil were called colonial times. People lived in colonies, not
cities or states. They built homes with things like mud, grass, and
wood. People hunted and grew their own food.
