With the release of the Pi3500, this is a clarification of some issues concerning the connection of the Pi3500 to the Di250 and Di350. All machines that have a Pi3500 Controller connected to it must have version 1171-10G2-09 PWB-M or above installed. This will show as MSC on the ROM version screen in the tech rep mode. The part number for the PWB-M is 1171-0124-05. Please refer to Sales Bulletin #99-SB-12, for additional information. The PWB-M is available through the Minolta EPROM Exchange Program, and is also included on the Pi3500 Initial Order Form so that it may be ordered with the Pi3500. Although the PWB-M is not an EPROM in the conventional sense, it does store the operating program for the Di250 and Di350, Minolta will handle this item through the EPROM Exchange Program.

The cost of the PWB-M, will be credited to the dealer if the PWB-M is returned in good condition, via Return Authorization, and packed in the proper antistatic shipping material.
