STUDENTS IN A PHILIPPINE PRIVATE UNIVERSITY

Statement of the Problem (if there is no profile problem)

This descriptive-correlational study will determine the self-efficacy, learning motivation
and academic competence of selected college students at the University of Perpetual Help
System Laguna.
Specifically, it will answer the following sub-problems:
1.What is the respondents’ level of self-efficacy?- OKAY
2.What is the respondents’ level of learning motivation?
3. What is the respondents’ level of academic competence?
4.Is there a significant relationship between the respondents’ level of self-efficacy and learning
motivation? (V1 and V2)
5.Is there a significant relationship between the respondents’ level of self-efficacy and academic
competence? (V1 and V3)
6.Is there a significant relationship between the respondents’ level of learning motivation and
academic competence? (V2 and V3)

Hypothesis of the Study

The following hypotheses will be tested using appropriate statistical tests:
SOP 4 Ho1: There is no significant relationship between the respondents’ level of self-efficacy
and academic competence.
SOP 5 Ho2: There is no significant relationship between the respondents’ level of self-efficacy
and academic competence.
SOP 6 Ho3: There is no significant relationship between the respondents’ level of learning
motivation and academic competence.
V1: level of organizational commitment
V2: level of job performance

What is the respondents’ level of organizational commitment?

What is the respondents’ level of job performance?
Is there a significant relationship between the respondents’ level of organizational commitment
and the level of job performance?
There is no significant relationship between the respondents’ level of organizational
commitment and the level of job performance.

Statement of the Problem (if there is a profile problem)

This descriptive-correlational study will determine the self-efficacy, learning motivation
and academic competence of selected college students at the University of Perpetual Help
System Laguna.
Specifically, it will answer the following sub-problems:
PROFILE1, EFFICACY2, AND MOTIVATION3
1.What is the respondents’ profile in terms of:
1.1 age;
1.2 gender;
1.3 socioeconomic status; and
1.4 number of gadget/device in learning?
2. What is the respondents’ level of self-efficacy?
3.What is the respondents’ level of learning motivation?
4. Is there a significant difference in the respondents’ level of self-efficacy when grouped
according to their profile variables? (combination of 2 and 1)
5.Is there a significant difference in the respondents’ level of learning motivation when grouped
according to their profile variables? (combination of 3 and 1)
6. Is there a significant relationship between the respondents’ level of self-efficacy and learning
motivation?

Ho1: There is no significant difference….self-efficacy…variables.

Ho2: There is no significant difference in the….motivation…variables.
Ho3: There is no significant relationship between….motivation.
1. What is the respondents’ profile in terms of:
1.1 civil status
1.2 number of seminars attended

2. What is the respondents’ level of civic engagement?

3. What is the respondents’ level of job satisfaction?
4. Is there a significant difference in the respondents’ level of civic engagement when
grouped according to their profile variables?
5. Is there a significant difference in the respondents’ level of job satisfaction when
grouped according to their profile variables?
6. Is there a significant relationship between the respondents’ level of civic engagement
and job satisfaction?

DO NOT USE “LEVEL OF” FOR THE FOLLOWING VARIABLES

1. Perception
2. Frequency
3. Academic performance
4. Status

1. What is the respondents’ perception (pananaw) of cyberbullying?

Or very favorable, favorable, unfavorable, very unfavorable
2. What is the respondents’ level of frequency of using mobile phones for online learning?

Sometimes
Rare
never
3. For academic performance (Outstanding, very good, satisfactory, average,
unsatisfactory)
4. For status of research culture
Outstanding, Very good, Developing, Poor
