REMINDERS

• Never share your passwords, MPIN or OTP with anyone, even to customer support
representatives.
• Activate biometric log in.
• Do not give out your QR code to untrusted parties. When transferring funds, please
ensure that you recognize the recipient and that his/her details are correct. We will not
be able to move erroneously sent funds back to your account.
• Be suspicious of phishing attempts, including SMS messages containing links. OTP
SMS will only come from PETRONefuel as the sender and only if you performed an
action that triggered an OTP. If the SMS message is unsolicited OR if sender is not
identical to the above (i.e., PETR0N_EFUEL, PETRON EFUEL, petronefuel, Petronefuel,
PETRONE-FUEL), please treat the message as phishing.
• Do not surrender your mobile phone at the service station. You do not need to hand
over your device to anyone.
• If you see suspicious or unrecognized transactions in the app, contact our official
customer support.
