ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION 2:
Livelihood Activities
GOOD OUTCOME: Can cope with and recover from the stresses and shocks and maintain or enhance its
capabilities and assets both now and in the future without undermining the natural resource base
BAD OUTCOME: Economic Disruption: A genocide can seriously impair a community's economy by
upsetting commercial, industrial, and agricultural operations and significantly decreasing the standard of
living.
ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION 3:
Humanitarian Aid and support
GOOD OUTCOME: Essential aid and support can rebuild communities, offering a path to recovery and
resilience for those affected by crisis.
BAD OUTCOME: Mismanagement of aid resources may lead to dependency, hindering the long-term
self-sufficiency and development of affected communities.
