STEP 4: PROBABLE/POSSIBLE OUTCOMES/RESULTS

ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION 1:
Expansion of Education

heightening polarization and hostility between ethnic or religious groups.

capabilities and assets both now and in the future without undermining the natural resource base
BAD OUTCOME: Economic Disruption: A genocide can seriously impair a community's economy by
upsetting commercial, industrial, and agricultural operations and significantly decreasing the standard of
living.

ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION 3:
Humanitarian Aid and support
GOOD OUTCOME: Essential aid and support can rebuild communities, offering a path to recovery and
resilience for those affected by crisis.
BAD OUTCOME: Mismanagement of aid resources may lead to dependency, hindering the long-term
self-sufficiency and development of affected communities.

STEP 5: THE DECISION

Decision 1: Expansion of education
•Expansion of education is crucial for fostering awareness and understanding among diverse
communities. However, caution is needed to prevent unintended consequences, as the expansion might
unintentionally intensify social divisions, resulting in increased division and tension.

Decision 2: Livelihood Activities

•Livelihood activities in addressing the Myanmar genocide necessitates prioritizing immediate relief and
sustainable strategies, encompassing coping, recovery, and enhancing community capabilities. In
recognizing the economic disruption caused, efforts should focus on rebuilding commercial, industrial,
and agricultural operations to restore stability and improve the standard of living for the impacted
population. A decision must balance both short-term and long-term considerations for an effective
recovery plan.
Decision 3. Humanitarian Aid and support
•To address the Humanitarian Aid and Support to Genocide in Myanmar, a decision must prioritize
efficiently allocating aid for community rebuilding. Implementing measures to prevent aid
mismanagement is crucial to avoid dependency, ensuring long-term self-sufficiency. Striking a balance
between immediate relief and sustainable, community-driven initiatives is essential for an informed and
effective decision.
