I’d like to tell you about my mobile phone which is my favourite item.
The mobile phone is a gift from my parents when I passed the university entrance exam last year. They
kept their promise to get me an iPhone X which I’d been longing for a long time. I’m a technophile, so I
like to keep up with the latest technological trends.
That iPhone X looks so chic with the colour white and plain design. Its screen is medium-sized and shiny.
I was drawn to it the first time I saw it. So I begged my parents to buy me one on condition that I
would sail through the exam with flying colors.
Well, I use it every day. I spend an average of 6 hours per day surfing the Net, but I will probably reduce
the amount of time using it to 3 hours or so to protect my eyes and devote more time to doing sports.
▶ It would be hard to imagine a life without a mobile phone. It’s an indispensable item to me. It is useful
for both study and work. Besides basic functions such as making phone calls and texting, I can check
emails, send files without opening my laptop. I can also read daily news to keep myself
informed of current affairs and look up new words when studying English.
▶ Plus, a mobile phone is a good source of free entertainment. There are plenty of games to let my hair
down after school or work, ranging from games for fun to games to sharpen my mind. I especially like
the game ‘Dota’ which teaches me several skills such as communicating with people from different
cultures and racking my brain to find out the best strategy.
That’s all I want to say.

Chiếc điện thoại di động là món quà từ bố mẹ tôi khi tôi đỗ kỳ thi đại học năm ngoái. Họ giữ lời hứa mua
cho tôi một chiếc Iphone X cái mà tôi đã mong muốn từ rất lâu. Tôi là một người yêu công nghệ, nên tôi
rất thích cập nhật xu hướng công nghệ mới nhất.
Chiếc Iphone X đó nhìn rất thời trang với thiết kế màu trắng và phẳng. Màn hình của nó có kích cỡ trung
bình và sáng láng. Tôi bị cuốn hút ngay lần đầu nhìn thấy nó. Vì vậy tôi cầu xin bố mẹ tôi mua cho tôi
với điều kiện là tôi phải vượt qua kì thi với điểm số rất tốt.
Tôi sử dụng nó hàng ngày. Tôi dành trung bình 6 giờ mỗi ngày để lướt web, nhưng tôi sẽ giảm lượng thời
gian sử dụng xuống 3 giờ gì đó để bảo vệ mắt và dành thời gian để chơi thể thao
Sẽ khá khó để tưởng tưởng cuộc sống sẽ như thế nào mà không có điện thoại. Nó là một vật không thể
thiếu được đối với tôi. Nó rất hữu ích cho cả họ tập và làm việc. Bên cạnh những chức năng căn bản như
gọi điện và nhắn tin, tôi có thể kiểm tra email, gửi tài liệu mà không cần mở máy tính. Tôi có thể đọc tin
tức hàng ngày để cập nhật thời sự mới nhất và tra từ vựng khi học Tiếng Anh.
Hơn nữa, một chiếc điện thoại là một nguồn giải trí miễn phí. Có nhiều trò chơi để thư giãn sau khi học
hoặc làm việc, từ những trò chơi vui đến những trò chơi luyện tập đầu óc. Tôi đặc biệt thích trò chơi
Dota cái dạy tôi nhiều kỹ năng như giao tiếp với người khác từ những nền văn hóa khác và vắt não suy
nghĩ để nghĩ ra chiến thuật tốt nhất.
Đó là tất cả những gì mà tôi muốn nói.

In fact, my residence is situated in the rural outskirts of Phan Thiet city, approximately 12km away.
Unfortunately, there is a scarcity of contemporary cuisine or dining establishments in close proximity.
Consequently, a significant portion of the local population relies on the cultivation and sale of dragon
fruit as their primary source of income.
Do you like to travel by air?
Certainly! It’s the quickest and most efficient way. I would choose this over a 12+ hour
bus or car ride any day! Furthermore, whenever I set foot on (enter; step into) a
plane, I tend to feel sleepy and end up drifting off (sleep) for pretty much the entire
flight.
What do you think about travelling to the outer space?
I think it’s quite intriguing, as I believe that other life forms may exist. Moreover, it’s
fascinating to find out more about the other complex galaxies surrounding us. I believe
there is much more to the universe than only Earth.
Do you want to travel to the space?
Yes, of course! I would be really interested to see what else it out there. I’m not sure if
this would happen in my lifetime though. However, I’ve heard that one day we may be
able to take trips to space. I think it’s a possibility! The future never ceases (fails) to
amaze me.
Who would you like to go with?
At this point in time, I can just imagine going alone with a specialized person. Down the
road (in the future) I could imagine going with my partner, and perhaps my children as
well. I would love for all of us to share this experience together.
What would you prepare on a trip to the outer space?
Definitely appropriate astronautical gear, as I’ve seen in pictures. Furthermore, I would
like to bring some kind of camera or video to be able to show my friends on earth what I
saw. Lastly, I would like to bring some kind of gift from earth just in case I came across
(encountered by accident) another life form there.
Where would you like to go to?
The moon or mars! I would say the moon because I’m interested to know what it feels
lie to walk on it. I’m also curious if the myth that it’s made out of cheese is accurate. On
the other hand, I’ve heard there is water on Mars, suggesting that there could be life
there, so I’d be fascinated to investigate that firsthand.
Do you think it’s necessary to see other planets?
I would say it’s a luxury more than a necessity for average people. However, I think it’s
necessary for scientists to investigate other planets so that we have better research and
understanding of what is going on around us. Lastly, it’s good for us humans to realize
that Earth isn’t the only planet.
