Topic: ‘Robotics Workshop’

On 27th Feb 2021, a robotics workshop took place in the computer lab of the Girls
campus, under the supervision of Ms Kehkashan Sehar. The students from grade O-II
and O-III were part of that practical workshop. After the vast research on robotics,
students found it out as an emerging experience where they had learnt a lot about
sensors and the basics of Robotics. The sensors which were introduced in the
workshop were; Ph sensor, Id sensor, motion sensor and DHT 11 sensor. They were not
only introduced but also being used by students who performed the practical and
made the indicators. Moreover, they were informed by the uses of these gadgets. Most
of the sensors are used for security purposes. The field of Robotics is raising in the
entire world, whereas our students being told to make such sensors in the teams.

This workshop was the little exposure for the students that created the courage and
confidence in the students to research about the rise and importance of technology.
The teacher has told the correct use and importance of every single wire and the
components being used in the practice such as; resistor, capacitor, breadboard,
buzzer, LED, connecting wires and sensors. Students enjoyed every juncture of the
workshop from the coding moment to the sensor making, as per the review of
witnessed student ‘the workshop enhanced her skills and created the urge to perform
more practical’. In conclusion, the entire workshop improved the bond and teamwork
of students and made them enthusiastic in the Robotics field.
