One summer day Amelie and Eric decided to go hiking in the

mountains. The hike was so long that they agreed to stop, relax and
put up their tents next to a big forest. After that they climbed into their
sleeping bag and went to sleep.
Suddenly in the middle of the night they were woken up by an
agitating roaring sound of an unknown animal. They were really
scared, but Eric plucked up his courage and went outside holding a
torch in his hand to see what was really happening. When he showed
up from the tent there was nothing so he and Amelie went back to
sleep.
When they woke up the next day, they saw that all of their belongings
were either bitten or ripped apart, the looks on their faces were as
white as a sheet. They didn’t know what to do so Amelie called the
forest rangers. A few moments later a ranger came to inspect the area
and found out that there was a cave near the forest and in that cave
were living a mother bear and her little ones.
The ranger told Amelie and Eric that the bears probably didn’t have
any food and instinctively tried to eat everything they could find. The
ranger also told them that at the beginning of the woods there was a
sign saying ‘no camping’, they felt so embarrassed. It had been the
most surprising thing that had ever happened to them, and probably
ever would.
