Building A Godly Character
Building A Godly Character
Building A Godly Character
• Can you think of someone who had a good character, but a bad reputation?
• Can you give a good example from the Bible where a person’s character mattered more
than their reputation?
• Is there anywhere in the Bible that shows how God views us versus how we view each
other? Read: 1Samuel 16:7
• Do you think we might be surprised when we get to Heaven about who is there and who is
not there? If so, why do you think that is?
• How can we make sure that we are going to Heaven, and how can we make sure that we
are not leading ourselves astray?
• What is the human condition without the indwelling presence of Christ in the heart?
• What must we do to enter the Kingdom of Heaven? What does the Bible say? How can we
make sure we have the indwelling presence of Christ in our heart?
• How can we build a Godly Character as Christians, what should we be doing as Christians,
what should we not be doing?
• If we love God and our neighbor, what should we be doing as it relates to the great
commission?
• What should we be doing with the light that God has given us? Are we keeping it to
ourselves or sharing it with others?
• The Bible says that there are two groups of people, those on Jesus’s right side and those on
his left ( The Righteous and the Unrighteous). Where do we find this in the scripture and
what were the differences between the two groups of people?
• Why do you think it is more important to be a doer of Gods word and not just a hearer?
Can you think of Bible verses that show the importance of being doers?
