Dear Parents/Guardians,

Praised be Jesus and Mary!

The second semester of the school year has finally commenced and we are now
on the stage of intensifying the spiritual, curricular, and co-curricular activities of
our learners for their maximum and holistic development. These engagements are
also directed toward student empowerment and developing initiatives toward
personal and communal responsibility. With this, we are enjoining everyone for
your unending support and collaboration that will eventually contribute to the
success of the conduct of the activities.

In relation to this, we would like to inform you of the following:

A. Important Dates

January 23 - 27 DACS Sports fest
January 27 First Communion of Grade 3 and some learners from
Grade 4 to JHS
Time: 8:00 AM
Venue: Our Lady of the Perpetual Help Parish
(Redemptorist Church - Bajada)
February 2 -3 First Quarter Periodical Exam for the 2nd Quarter

There will be student-athletes together with their teacher-coaches who will be

participating in the DACS Sports fest. Some of the events will be conducted in
other private schools and some games will be played in the UIC-GYM. Hence,
there will be more athletes, coaches, and parents/guardians who will be coming to
UIC on those dates. We are very cautious of the safety and health conditions of
our pupils/students since we are still in the pandemic time. Thus, there is a slight
adjustment of the learning modality for Jan. 23-27, 2023.

On this note, we are informing you that we will have straight online classes for
the Kindergarten and Grade School from January 23-27, 2023 (Monday to
Friday) instead of two days (Monday and Tuesday). The subject teachers will
inform their learners of the synchronous and asynchronous periods from
Wednesday to Friday.

In addition, identified JHS Grade level/s will have their face-to-face classes on a
particular day to watch the games in the UIC Gym and other venues, to extend
support to our student-athletes:
