SUBJECT: JOINT BSP & GSP BACKYARD CAMPING

In connection with school wide activity which is incorporated in Calendar of Scouting

Events and Observances, we are happy to announce the conduct of JOINT BSP & GSP
SCHOOL BACKYARD CAMPING on October 13, 2023 at Punta Elementary School.

1. The objective of this activity is:

2.1. To instill among the scouts the importance of the total quality development of
one’s personality.
2.2 To develop among themselves their rights and their responsibilities as good
citizen of our country.
2.3 To provide activities to make the participants enjoy and appreciate the beauty
and enrichment of our natural resources.
2.4 To instill and carry out the role of scouters and the values embodied in the Boy
Scout and Girl Scout Promise and Laws:
2.5 To develop their leadership skills.
2.6 To demonstrate the brotherhood/sisterhood and camaraderie among the group.
2. Participants are requested to bring the following:
 Type A, B, C, uniform
 Notebook, ball pen, pencil/eraser, bond paper
 3 meters rope
 Cooking gears and eating utensils
3. Every participant is expected to satisfactorily meet the following requirements
 Initial Membership fee for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts amounting to (Php. 50.00 for
BSP and GSP shall be collected to ensure insurance in case of accidents
during the scouting activity.)
 Parents Permit
 Desirable camping attitude
4. Attached herewith are the Schedule of Activities, Organizational Structure and Working
Committees for information and guidance of all concerned.
5. Widest dissemination of this memorandum is highly embayed.
