Designation : Shift Manager. (Data Centre Operations)
Duration : OCT 2022 to Till date

Key Deliverables:

 Responsible for the on-site management of COLO/ DC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring
that all work performed is in accordance with established practices, procedures & local legislation
 stablish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical
facility infrastructure operations and maintenance
 Generate change management requests & incident.
 Management tickets for Data Center facility.
 Work with DCO managers (IT) and other business leaders to coordinate projects, manage
capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability and efficiency.
 Establish documentation relevant to business & facility operations.
 Responsible for the installation of the racks and the provision of power/cooling.
 Manage routine maintenance and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such
as:- switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling
towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
 Assist in the design, implementation, commissioning and build out of new facilities.
 Drive & implement projects to increase current facility capacity, efficiency, sustainability &
reliability.
 Management of the DC, in the provision of infrastructure & inventory asset management
 Conduct monthly operational meetings with vender management.
 Review COLO/DC contract compliance & ensure all SLA's are achieved.
 Business interface with COLO/DC Management for day to day operational requirements.
 Assist in recruiting efforts.
 Manage COLO/DC to resolve of any infrastructure engineering issues.
 Delivery of exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
 Responsible for preparing Billing data for POA customers & than analyzing Power P&L.
Operational & Equipment Handling:

 Handling of day to day Operations & Maintenance related activities of all packages i.e. HT/LT
Transformer:- 3150 KVA X 2, DG:-1010KVA X 2 HVAC:- Chiller 250TR X 2, VRV System,
PAHU,TFA,BMS, Security System etc.
 Planning & tracking Yearly, Monthly and Quarterly Preventive Maintenance of all packages.
 Logging, Tracking & follow up with Vendors the complaints till Closure & taking RCA for closing.
 As per customer request Rack Powering ON.
 As per site requirement co-ordinate with design team for site requirement for new project. 
 Preparing monthly Site electricity consumption details and billing reports including vendors.
 Operation and monitoring of IBMS system.
 Managing upgradation projects from initiation of BOQ till Invoice process.
 Responsible for handling the capacity enhancement & fit-out projects at site like for upgradation of white
space wrt UPS/HVAC/ PDU/LT Panels/BMS

Key Deliverables:
  Day to day Operation and maintenance of 22KV Substation and Data Center Facility from Grid to
Chip.
 Handling all over shift management.
 Load forecasting and scheduling the power for entire site.
 Making all types of MOP.
 Tracking of Planned Preventive Maintenance PPM- planner in-house as well as Vendor.
 Providing end to solution for installation, commissioning, and testing of mission critical equipment’s
like UPS, SMPS, HVAC etc.

 Responsible for Operation 1150 TR 11KV HT water cooled Chiller, 450 TR & 350 TR -LT air cooled
chiller of Trane makes.
 Conducting faulty diagnosis, identifying root cause of failures, and evolving quick breakdown
solutions to put the equipment back in operation within minimum lead-time.
 Responsible for entire Operation and maintenance of Internet Data Centre spread over 112000
sqft from LT Panel to rack level.
 Responsible for Operation & Maintenance of IBMS, FAS addressable and conventional fire alarm
system FM200, Inergen, VESDA, Rodent repellent system, Water Leak Detection system, PA
system, Access Control System, CCTV and Fire Alarm System.
 Responsible for Operation & Planning Preventive maintenance for mission critical equipment’s
like, HT & LT breaker, Panel, Transformer, UPS, SMPS, PAC, VRF, AHU and CRAC units.
