BACKGROUND : Most learners do not have the ability to retell a story in order of sequence.
Story telling is a life skill that needs to be mastered.
THE CALA
This CALA has two parts, A and B, you are required to respond to both of them
PART A
1. Gather pictures of any situation of choice(5)
2. Formulate a suitable title(5)
3. Suitable subtitles (5)
4. Present the pictures in a logical order that tells a story(15)
PART B
5. Write a narrative composition based on the sequence of these pictures(20)
HOW LEARNERS WILL BE ASSESSED
The CALA will be assessed out of 50.
Marks will be awarded for producing pictures (model) that tell a story.
You will be awarded marks for producing a relevant title and subtitle for each picture as well as for a
captivating follow up narrative in good grammar
