Good Morning to each and every one!

This day marks the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence against Women. This was announced on
2006 through Proclamation 1172, since Violence against Women and Children continues to be one of
the country’s perennial social problems.

With the year 2022 theme “United for a VAW-free Philippines” This aims to highlight the gains
and milestones achieved in the efforts to prevent and address VAW in the country.

In celebration of the said campaign, activities are as follows; Organization of MOVE (Men
Opposing Violence Everywhere). Move is an Organization of men who shall help in the elimination of
VAW; another activity is a Retreat for Trouble Couples, which desires to assist the couple identify the
root causes of their marriage issues and provide them opportunity to enhance their communication and
problem-solving skills so as not to lead domestic violence between them.

Today, as we join the nation in this Observance Week, may we request our Municipal Mayor -
Benjamin LL. Cuaresma III, Vice Mayor – Engr. Arnel G. Duldulao, Members of the Sangguniang Bayan,
our MSWDO Ms. Miriam F. Pinaroc, the different Department Heads, and men in uniforms to lead the
display of our celebration piece and the Floating of the Orange Advocacy Balloons. Right after our photo
opportunity, we would like to invoke God’s presence as we pray the Prayer for 18 day Campaign to End
VAW to be led by Ms. Carmelita T. Marquez. Thank you very much and Good day to everyone!
