It is also noticed that crew are calling out signal loudly on through signals, but same activeness is not observed while passing signal at Attention/Caution/Danger aspect. To ensure safety in train working system, the following instructions are reiterated for strict adherence by all running staff. > Call out the signal clearly, loudly and with hand gesture. > Call out the signal with station name, signal name and aspect. >Call out —the_—signal_—sspecifically with ~—fine. ~— name UP/DOWN/MAIN//LOOP/MMTS/UD/BD/EAST/WEST line and Line no. in the yards etc. > Call out the RIGHT HAND SIDE signal specifically with its location. » While negotiating ATTENTION and CAUTION aspect of signal, LP/ALP should be more alert (should not get distracted by exchange of allright signals) > Call out DANGER signal repeatedly until train comes to halt before danger signal {should not get distracted by exchanging of all right signals/VHF conversations/any other activity and focus only on signal duly regulating the speed. ALP to stand and hold the RS while passing the Signal at caution aspect and continue fill the foot of the stop signal is reached. » LPs working SPIC/DEMU/MEMU/EMU should also strictly adhere to the above. Itis advised fo caill out the signal aspects frequency) as given below: ¥ PROCEED aspect once and ensure the same fill the signal is passed. ¥ ATTENTION/CAUTION aspect multiple times (minimum twice/thrice). ¥ DANGER aspect — REPEATEDLY In view of the above, all CLis are advised to counsel/educate their nominated Loco Pilots /ALPs/Shunters on the above instructions and ambush checks are to be conducted by Cis on the above calling out habit of crew and feedback may be submitted regularly to this office for compliance duly recording in the in the CU's diary.
